Partnership Purpose

a) To conduct capacity building of women beneficiaries by providing access to business skills training.
b) To provide access to financial services and assets (including coolers, marketing materials and Coca Cola products)
c) To provide access to peer networks through exchange programs.
d) To ensure visibility of the partnership program by creating awareness across the country.

Role of WEF

a) Identify and vet women entrepreneurs to be trained on business skills through the 5by20shopkeepers Training and Resources (STAR) program. The target is 200, 000 women to be reached annually.
b) Support creation and promotion of linkages by organizing interactive/consultative forum between women and stakeholders.
c) Provide funds through CWES to the entrepreneurs for startup and expansion.
d) Carry out the training after having the trainers trained.
e) Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the partnership program and submit periodic reports

Role of Partner

a) Train WEF officers to carry out the 5by20 STAR training.
b) Provide training materials to the trainers.
c) Lead in forging alliances and partnerships between WEF and other stakeholders that are spearheading women’s economic empowerment.
d) Provide access to peer networks for the women within the 5by20 initiatives.
