Partnership Purpose

a) Provide a framework of cooperation between WEF and The County.
b) Improve livelihoods and quality life for Busia Women by promoting regular incomes.
c) Facilitate to create jobs for the women in the County through enterprise development.

Role of WEF

a) Undertake M&E of the collaboration and disseminate lessons learnt and best practices
b) Enhance critical linkages to other relevant National programmes and WEF existing partners.
c) Building capacity of the identified groups on entrepreneurship & business management skills, mentorship and coaching.
d) Sensitize women in Bomet on formation of SACCOs and cooperative societies
e) Assist, link and support women identified by the county to attend Trade Fairs, agricultural shows, exchange and bench-marking programs

Role of Partner

a) Offer payment guarantee for WEF LPO financing to all county AGPO beneficiaries, to enhance 30% procument opportunities
b) Facilitate registration of women SACCOs
c) Mobilize women entrepreneurs for sensitization and training activities.
d) Identify and facilitate beneficiaries within the County to be trained in various value chain development programs.
e) Identify and facilitate co-branding of County Markets for use by women traders .
f) Organize Annual Governor Women Entrepreneurs Award to spur entrepreneurship development in the county.
