At the heart of the 5th National Agribusiness Summit at KICC, a new era of agricultural excellence took center stage. Supported by the generous sponsorship of GIZ – Sustainable Agricultural Systems and Policies (AgSys), WEF Kenya proudly showcased the ingenious innovations of women entrepreneurs who are redefining the sector. From transforming raw wool and sisal into high-fashion accessories to processing milk, bananas, and moringa into premium value-added products, these #WEFWomen proved that the journey from farm to shelf is the future of the industry.

The event, themed “From Promise to Action: Advancing Agribusiness through Dialogue and Innovation,” was honored by the presence of Agriculture CS Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, PS Juma Mukwana, and GIZ Program Director Petra Jacobi, all of whom echoed the vital need for inclusive industrialization. Agriculture remains the backbone of Kenya’s economy, and through this strategic GIZ partnership, we are ensuring that women are not just participants, but leaders in the value-addition revolution. Together, we are turning agricultural potential into powerful, sustainable action.
