Tuinuke Loan (Constituency Women Enterprise Scheme - CWES)
Requirements to access Group Loans

Must be a registered Self-Help Group comprised of 10 - 30 members.

All group members must be women aged 18+ years

Must be registered with the Department of Social Services for at least 3 months.

Must have an account in a Bank account. Statements from SACCO FOSA/Post Bank/Deposit Taking Micro-finance (DTM) statements will not be acceptable.

Groups must be trained on Financial Literacy Skills by the WEF officers as a prerequisite for the loan application.

Must provide list of group members with IDs and Telephone numbers (members must have signed against their names)

Must provide signed minutes of the group meeting resolving to borrow from WEF

A member must belong to only one group at a time
NB: The Group Loan is interest Free, with only 6% administrative fee with no grace period
Group loans are given in different categories and graduation principle applies as follows:
